Common Medication Dosages
Tylenol is appropriate to use in children down to 2 months of age.
Dosing Chart for Children 2 Months to 2 Years of Age: Infants' Tylenol is now the same concentration as Children's.
Infants/Children's Liquid Tylenol (160 mg/5 ml)
| 6 - 11 lbs | 2 - 3 months | 1.25 mL |
| 12 - 17 lbs | 4 - 11 months | 1/2 tsp = 2.5 mL |
| 18 - 23 lbs | 12 - 23 months | 3/4 tsp = 3.75 mL |
| 24 - 35 lbs | 2 - 3 years | 1 tsp = 5 mL |
Advil is appropriate for children down to 6 months of age. Dosing information is listed below.
